All military airports, including the popular Agra airport, need 30 days’ notice for landing and PPR clearance. However until thirty days before departure, don’t leave your permit request.

For General Aviation, there may be airport slot closures due to airline activity. You may’ve to change your airport slot close to day of operation.
During busy periods, Air Traffic Control (ATC) can give you delays by as much as 1 to 2 hours.
If you want to make a significant change to an airport slot, then it becomes necessary to start the permit process again.
Parking slots are typically issued 2 hours prior to landing. So you should depart early. Based on the availability, airport slots can be adjusted.
- Know India’s tolerances for permit changes:
If you want to make a change to flight time or routing, you will have to revise your permit and give 3 business days’ notice.
Your ground handler may use local professional relationships within India to speed up change requests.
If your aircraft is Aircraft on Ground i.e. (AOG), then it is possible to transfer your permit to another aircraft flying the same schedule.
If you just need to change a routing or destination, then it may require a new permit application.
If your flight is planned to Delhi and you wish to fly to Mumbai at the last minute, then this’ll not be approved, and you will need to reapply for a permit that may result in delays.
- Be prepared to pay cash for permits:
